Hello everyone out the in CBR 600 F3 land. Here is a picture of a prototype R1/F3 fairing that I have been working on. I recently gave the fairing to a plastic engineer and he is going to start shoping it around to different factories to find a  good price for mass production. I hope all goes well in the near future. As some of you might know I have said in the past that I am preparing custom fairings for sell so please review some of my post for pictures of my bike. Also the are picture of my bike on CBRworld.net under photos. When all is ready I will let everyone know what he or she will need to do to get a faring. But in the mean time tell me what you guys think of the fairing and a price tag of 200-250. dollars. And tell you friends also if they have a F3 or f2.

                                                                                                                                 Thanks

Are you going to make an upper stay to go with it??  That would be very nice as I'm sure the stock one won't fit wit hthe headlights or the windscreen.

^ wouldnt that be the whole point of a custom piece like this , so that it would work with the oem fairing stay .. otherwise it wouldve just been easier to use a oem r1 piece and custom fab a fiairing stay instead.

To mount this fairing use a R1 stay and make a go between plate between the stay and the bike frame. If I made a custom stay it would be very expensive. I done something that alot of F3 owner have wished for. I made a custom fairing to provide a new and fresh
look for the out dated F3. I hope to get good feedback from the factories. I am sorry I did not make a complete line of custom parts I have a job and other responsibilities.

It would be very expensive to make a F3/R1 stay. I am still waiting on a price qoute from the factory so I mainly concerned with the fairngs.

Thank you for the reply. I talked with my contact for the factories the other day and he told me one quote he got. At this moment I am being told 10,000 just the mold. So I am going to wait for some info from other factories before I decide to launch this.

Play hardball with them, they say 10,000 you say. F*** off ill give you 6000

6000.00 just for the mold is kinda rediculous.

but if you charge 250 a pop its paid in no time.
