Jesus.  It looks like the airbox alone would cost about 1500 bucks or so.  I bet a ton of r&d time went into that thing.

At the speeds he will be going I would think he needs someone to kiss his butt goodbye.

Thanks man, I love sleepers thats why when I saw that this kit is the way I would have made it, I knew that I had to get one. I have many sleeper cars but never a bike  cause I never really like that the turbo had a huge filter coming off the side like most Hayabusa kits. On Cycle Logic's kit Dave, the engineer, said that he made the plenum for a certian reason because when you have a turbo that uses a intake manifold you don't have any protection if the turbo decides to blow apart. All those little parts go flying into the motor but in their kit the plenum uses the stock or aftermarket filters and in turn you don't have a filter oin the turbo just a screen and it becomes a sleeper kit.

The boost right now is set to 8 lbs but I will be probably be changing that soon to 10 lbs but I will have to use race gas so I am enjoying the fact that I am using pump gas and flying around town. I did have a chance to ride the shop bike to try 10 lbs and holy shit 2 lbs makes a BIG diff!

About the mpg I really haven't checked because I am always on the gas feeling the turbo kick in. Its very addicting!!! The kit uses stock injectors so it does drive like a stock bike until you mash the throttle but I so far I haven't paid to much attention to the MPG's

Well I tried to see what I could get my bike for on ebay. I was asking $19k but the bids only got up to $14k. So I guess I might keep it for a bit until the 08 comes out!!!!

You are trying to sell it already????? Whats up with that?

My biggest question is after looking at the HP and Torque curves did anyone else notice that the HP and torque reading were by speed in MPH not by rpm?

So the 250HP is at 140mph but what does the powerband of that bike look like??? Where in the rpm range does 250HP fall? What is the HP like at 3000rpm? What are the real world numbers like??? Something more useful since there are 6 gears not just 1 gear.

tomc1965     Well to tell you the truth everything of mine has a price tag. I was just talking with some guys and they were talking selling their bikes and getting new ones. So I thought I wonder how much I could get for mine with the kit and all the shit on it. So put it on ebay and if i could get 19k for it I would definitely sell it and you would too. About the mph insteead of rpm is a good question I guess I never noticed that but I will probably see one of the guys at CYCLE LOGIC tomorrow or Sun so I will ask.

About the powerband it is pretty intense about 3-4k rpm to turbo spools quickly but I konw they use a IHI turbo the gradully biulds boost instead if garrett turbos that the boost spikes quickly. I know this because I have a aftermarket garrett turbo on m Audi A4 and when it hits 24 lbs it jerks the car bad. unlike the bike which still wants to rip your arms off you really can;t just mash the throttle it takes some playing with but it is so intense and adrenline is of the chain.

I'll get back with you about the dyno sheet
