ORIGINAL: Donohu40 I ran down an STI on the highway with my F3! i bet you could beat him from a 60 roll on if you started in 6th gear. well maybe not, but you still would have no problem beating him.... unless he has a super soaker full of oil... Didn't you read his post??? He said the SRT was modded to 320hp/350ft lbs TO THE WHEELS!!! An STI has like 280hp at the flywheel. This SRT-4 that he is talking about would smoke an STI.

ORIGINAL: Donohu40 Im sure it would smoke a stock sti, but it wouldn't smoke a 600RR. Especially from a roll because you won't have to worry about standin it up. From standing it would only be close if the rider got a bad start. Last time I checked an 03 RR is capable of 10.5's and it would take a lot more than just 320hp to get just about any car that fast. Oh I know the RR would win but I bet It would be closer than everyone on this thread thinks. I've seen a VR-4 with a few bolt ons stay head to head with a 900RR (rolling starts on highway).

Ive ran 2 SRT4s and a few vettes 07 and older. a viper (old man thought he would get out on me at a redlight) many mustangs including cobras and all of them have yet to give me a run, the geeks in the SRT4s and grocery shopper winged 4 cylinder cars seem to think they can out run anything on the road. I would not worry just run the gears out just before the limiter and shift and hold on.

I beat a 05 Pontiac GTO rolling, it had roughly 400hp, it didn't stand a chance, but I would have to say that GTO's are rather heavy

Take it to the track a few more times and you should run about 10.6. I run 11.3 on my 98 yzf600r. I havent taken my f4i yet but from the difference in feel i expect to run about 10.9. BTW you should smoke anything without slicks on it let alone anything that steers and pulls with the same wheels. Oh and one more hint about racing people, if they want to go from a roll they can't drive.

But partly because chevy owns. But think of this, bikes are so damn light, making loads of power, they trounce most things on the road. You can spend 30k on a car, not including the car, or buy a 10 grand bike and stomp it. Power to everyone on 2 wheels.(or one)
