wow.. imagine that 93 octane... 3-4% more horsepower at your fingertips ... what a difference .. forget about buying race fuel just go to sunoco and pay 3.19 for a gallon of "High octane" low grade pump gas... to expensive you say??? dont worry about it, its well worth adding 50-60 horsepower for only an extra 30 cents..  joey have you tried this??? i also recommend overinflating the tires to 50+ psi to improve your top speed.

just kidding about the tires although extra psi will give you a slightly higher top speed.. wouldnt recommend doing it to anything outside of the salt flats... hey pimpn have you looked at your clutch basket recently.. i blew one out doing 3rd gear wheelies.. had to have an engine shipped from nyc to alaska.. now i use my wifes cbr600 to wheelie..

I'm new to the forum and have been checking it out for a few weeks now, but I have to agree that standing the bike up doesn't make much sense to me, what's the point?  just to show skills?  I love to go fast but on two wheels.  Maybe if I subtracted a few years from my age I would dig it.

I will say that all the post are very useful, either I learn something or have great laughs..200 mph.

Like i said long time ago Joey, this post was not about you, the gas thing was from some other post, as was a lot of the other smart ass comments i made. I just remember having read like 5 diff posts where people were talking smack and or out of there asses. So i decided to make this one, so maybe someone else is feeling insecure  as this post as i originated it is not about YOU

Why should everyone use 93 octane? Did I miss an important discussion? Our bikes are made for 86 and up.

the funny thing is outsider i get into it constantly wit gsxr riders, they always talk bout how honda's aint sh*t, and how their pieces of sh*t! im like ok thats why u have a blown motor, need to take it in to the shop, and u only have/had 8k on the dash! love to hear them talk sh*t cuz i just reply "pull that piece of sh*t out and lets take it to the streets!"
