ras122's bike is nice for an 18 year old CBR600 "hurricane."  The work he did to convert this bike is incredible.  I would love to do something like that to my 89.  My votes with you.  Good luck.

Thanks man, it was alot of hard work in which I did with my own two hands. Like I told someone else not many people are willing to dump alot of time into something this old. People can't believe it is 18 years old. I think it really stands out.

man looking at the before and after pic

"Front "Raccoon Mask" vinyl graphics to compliment stock vinyls."

makes ur bike look a million times better

i would have never realized that either.  i love those vinyls on the upper, especially the one below the windscreen.

fox, you put vinyls on your rubber?  when i looked at your bike previously, i was like, man that yellow on those tires really pops....and you did it!  i didnt know vinyl would stick.

Yep. I didn't think it would work either, But the heat from the tires sort of melts the vinyls on to it, and they're extremely difficult to get off. It works so well that all 3 of our bikes have them, and it works perfectly.

Hey blue i'v been looking at ur bike for 10 min are the only mods you have done to it turn signals, rim stripes, and the fendor eliminator?
oh and a tank pad?

im just curious

*edit* I won 2006 in October btw

A couple more, but yes, you got the major ones.

- Rizoma Turnsignals with Watsen Running Light Modulators
- Hand Fabricated Fender Eliminator (you'll never see one like mine because I made it.)
- Front "Raccoon Mask" vinyl graphics to compliment stock vinyls.
- Rear Tail Vinyls
- Rim stripes
- Dunlop vinyl logos made for tires
- Honda OEM Seat Cowl
- 10000k HID Headlamp System

As a graphic artist, I go by a simple design rule...........Less is more. Every mod I do to my bike, I want it to compliment the bike, not stick out on it's own.

Think of Chip Foose for instance. When you look at one of his cars, all you see is one beautiful machine. Nothing sticks out, or looks out of place. All you see is the beauty of the car as a whole because everything just works........it all flows together. All the modifications compliment one another to create a work of art.

That's how I like view my bike. A little here, a little there. It still looks a bit like a stock bike, but at the same time it doesn't. You said it yourself, you looked at my bike for 10 minutes, trying to find out what I did to it........and I take that as a HUGE compliment.........because that's exactly how I want people to view my bike. I want them to look at it and go "Wow." (at least, that's what I hope people do when they look at my bike.)

So to conclude my novel of a post........I took what was already beautiful, and made it more beautiful.

And thanks again for the compliment.

I like the philosophy, and the look.  The Raccoon Mask made a suttle big difference.  Looks unique and clean.

A lot of you guys would do much better if you had better pics.  Don't take pics in your garage with lots of clutter around.  When voting on stuff like this over the internet, a visually appealing presentation goes a long way.  IT's not like all these bikes are in the parking lot outside and we can all go out there and kick the tires and look at them in their natural setting.  Some of you guys are limiting yourself by using a cell phone in a poorly lit alley or something like that.

You don't have to be a professional photographer or anything like that at all.  After you clean your bike and make it all pretty and shiny, don't take a pic in your wet driveway with the bucket and hose laying there.  Just doesn't work for a photo contest and if you do win, is that the pic you want on the calendar?

Not picking on anyone in particular.  Just when you make a gallery or post pics with the hopes of winning the bike of the month, put a few minutes thought into the picture.

Sorry for the off-topic rant -- well not really a rant.  Just some friendly advice for some of those that are trying to win and have extremely nice looking bikes, but really crappy pics.  Again, this is certainly not directed at any one in particular.

Oh by the way...  Blue Fox gets my vote.  Subtle mods, very clean bike, great pics....  plus I'm very partial to the Red/Black Honda scheme.
