ok i've read how to start doing wheelies but before i try it, does anyone have a 1000rr out there that can give me tips on what gear and what rpm to start trying. I have a 07 1000rr that's only got 200 miles on it so i dont want to loop it.

Dont even think about a wheelie for a while. You need to break in and learn your bike.

Don't do it man, you wreck the bike doing wheelies (can pop seals in your front suspension) Ride safe and to your limits

i would have to agree with everyone, only try them when your a 100% sure your totally comfortable with your bike, when you are you wont worrie what rpm you should be at and how fast your going, you will just know because you will have a feel for it.

200 miles??? .. your tires are barely broken in! .. wait! .. get to know your bike and then maybe try it. But I would recommend getting a beater bike to learn on.
