krash -> woo hoo code superbike school! (7/28/2007 2:33:56 PM)

Me and  buddy signed up for Codes SB school at Mid Ohio a couple of months ago and got put on a waiting list. We had pretty much given up and started
making plans for schools next spring, then last night we both got a call, were in for next week.[:D]

now I am getting all nervous and anxious. never actually been on a track, but seeing as how its a school and not an open track day, should go nice and smooth.

Damn you're stoked. If you dont mind me asking, how much was it? I'm looking to take a similar class in the near future.

It is $450 for the single day class.  Just a little more expensive than others we looked at, but everyone says its well worth every penny.

dayum...that's like 3 track days...

It took me awhile to swallow that price as well, but everyone tells me its worth it, especially since I need to build my confidence in corner entry and lean angles.
This level one class is aimed at cornering techniques, so its going to be the exact instruction I need.  the pro's will be helping me with body position, speed, angle, and such.

track days are great, but I dont want to be the jack ass out there getting in everyones way.

For those of you that havent done a track day, cant get into the superbike school or cant afford the $450.I highley recommend doing a STT trackday.I just recently did a weekend at putnam park with STT teaching a novice course and wow did i learn alot and finished the weekend with the instructors telling me that they see no reason I shouldn't move up to the Intermediate class.

Tracdays are much cheper for you West coast guys.  I paid just a bit over $200 bones for a TD on this end of the pond.
