Hey how are you guys doing? Ive done a couple searches for this but I cant seem to find anything that useful! I hoping to get started on this project soon, I am attemping to put a 2006 cbr 600rr seat onto a 1996 cbr f3. I have a good idea of whats involved, but it wouldnt hurt if someone with expierence on this topic could give me a few tips!!! I just need to know if the frame it self needs to be modified and what to do with all the mounting point, do some line up, do all line up, or do none line up ect... I am a very competent fabricator (I have only dealt with cars thought) and have access to TIG, MIG, all the metal anyone could ever want, plasma cutters, tubing bender, all that good stuff. Go to CBRworld.net and look underpictures. I think the thread is like F4I600F3 . The owner of the bike if DementedF3 and he did the mod and changed his seat to a cbr 600 rr. So have a look because he took some real good pictures and did a real good job. I am thinking of doing the same.
