Even if I can't go, if you guys are going through SA anyway, I should take you out to PR37, but we can discuss that later.

last year we cut across 290 and merged with I-10 cut down on the miles. ummm i plan on being in austin by 8-9am so i'll beleaving here about 7-8am here . i'v been telling all the dallas guys that if they want to come down thur. or thur. night they can stay at my apt. and we can leave and head down there in the morning. but its up to y'all ... and bs rosco ..your going ! said and done!!! :) start saving now :P

gonebroke . it might be faster for you to just get on 20 and follow it down to monahan and then cut down right in to fortstockton
heck ... man .. lets see .... where would everyone becoming from ? i know gone -rowlett rasco-SA me -Waco ( maybe 1 or 2 more from waco) i have one from houston, i was just looking now .. i can take some back roads to fortstockton and shave 100 miles off my trip if i do that ...... says it will take about 6 hours but i know it will be more then that .. stupid country roads and there speed traps ... i might re amp this meet up and go .. i might just have everyone take off from where they live and take the fastest way in ! that way where not all so tired that first day !!!!

I was thinking that as well. It's a strait 7 hour shot to Ft Stockton down I20. I guess being all highway it is pretty boring anyway. So far from my neck of the woods there are 2 (including myself). I have been trying to gather up more but it seems I know a lot of pansies that are afraid of a road trip. Are we discriminating against what types of bikes are going?? Are cruisers welcome?

anyone that wants to come man . i got one guy from the gstwins.com forums ( suz. 500cc bike :) ) he was one that went with me the last time . he said hes game to go again . we where supose to go this year .. but it fell through .... but yea mean .. anyone is welcome . its somthing thats fun for everyone .. i heard about big bend from a guy that i use to work with .. him and the yamahahaha cruiser guys do what they call the poler bear run .. its in jan. i think . they run down there stay the weekend and come back ... so .. i'm not a discrimanater :P

hey the guys that are going to go to big bend do any of you have a cam corder ? it would be nice to get some video shots while we are the the twisties ! if not i have a digital camera that will do video one of the guys from up here thats gonna go said i could mount it on his bike ... i'm gonna try to buy a GPS unit that way we dont have to worry about getting lost IN big bend .. theres really no maps of that place it self ..as far as getting to big bend is no big deal :P

ohhh boy !!! its getting closer ! just 2 months and i will get a head count of everyone that is for sure there going to go . that way i can call the hotel and tell them how many rooms i know we are going to need ! geezzz i cant wait !!!!

OK, maybe I missed it some where... I have read this whole thing twice and can not seem to find the actual days planned in March. Was it ever mentioned??? I need to get it on my vacation schedule here at work.

Ok guys march is fast approaching before you know it it will be march 14th and we will all be headed to big bend !!!!! so get that money ready !!!!! I'm trying to find out the best way for all of us to get there .. i might have a guy coming from OK area i know theres one guy from Dallas .. then me from Waco .. i was thinking maybe .. the Houston ppl could meet up with the Austin ppl and the callas ( or northern ppl) could come to Waco and we could leave out from Waco and take a back road to big bend .. well .. its not really back road .. but its not all highway .. I'll just say that .. yahoo says it will take 6 hours ... but it will take 9 hours... i know it took 9 hours from Austin ... I'd prefer no one to be riding alone there because if something happens then your alone .... i know there are a few of you that don't have much of a choice to go alone because no one is near you ... but we can figure something out ... on another note .. austinSBR.com has given me a good idea .. before you leave that night put all your personal info on a small business card i.e. emergency phone numbers, blood type ect. ... I'll get a list of everything pretty soon . but if you guys already know your are going .. no dought in your mind that you wont make it .. pm me and let me know and let me know where your coming from so i can get groups set up .. so i can put you down as for sure going .. i will get a full head count at the end of jan. !
