I keep getting reply's to the Craigslist posting I made from Harley guys. It seems the majority of them are worried about their image more than the real reason to even own a bike. Oh well there loss...

ok ok so i should have the plan all planed out once we get down there . i just need to find out what everyone wants to do . we rode down to the Macdonald's observatory http://www.as.utexas.edu/mcdonald/mcdonald.html
theres you a link
last time i went and it was a blast ! then down in to big bend . but its a long day of riding . I'm talking . we leave at 8am and don't get back till dark or so . and it all depends on our speed and what not . because i have my pace but i will hold up a few times to make sure no one goes down . ( last time we had one go down :( but he was ok ) and this trip is about fun .. but i tend to have a iron butt . its normal for me to do a 6hr. ride with only stopping for gas .  but I'd really like to go to Carlsbad on Sunday . that place is out of control last time i was there was when i was 12 .
http://www.nps.gov/cave/
theres you a link . there should be some good roads around that way to . guys I'm going crazy . march is coming fast but slow all at the same time . i don't think any of you have been . but i hope you have the same feeling i have now once you go there . this was my first big trip by my self and i loved every min. of it . I'll have my laptop and my camera with me so we can take tons of pics and stuff and keep everyone up  to date. if gone broke and nate come to waco that will only leave chris to ride by him self ( hes from houston so . ) and if "The x" and "Stykn monkey"  go they can eather come to waco or they can head out fort Stockton (if you do this i can have chris meet you in Austin he did last time that way hes not alone ) . i would just prefer no one ride alone . once you get on 1-10 it gets kinda empty . long brakes between gas stations and nothing but open road ( the spend limit is 75 but everyone does 90+ we where doing 90 and still getting passesed ) so keep checking !

I think we are going to head down I20. Its a strait shot from dallas and only 7 hours. I tend to exceed the speed limit on the open highway so 7 hours will be with traffic... If Nate is north of Waco he is welcome to head west with us. We can meet in Ft. Worth or any where along I20. I may have another going also. Not 100% yet, but I will find out for sure. Matt, Do you have the address ( or name) of the hotel? I want to get all of my mapping in order ahead of time.

yup this one right here
http://travela.priceline.com/hotel/hotelPhotosGuide.do?key=fcfbfnfl&propID=49125&static=N&jsk=2103010a1f03010a20080208223407BB5e10041068&plf=PCLH
if you want to book at least two rooms ( they should not charge your card they just use it to hold the room ) because we will need at least two rooms i figured you and your wife would want you own room :P and then me jimmy nate and maybe chris could book up in the othe room .. if The x desides he can go they can book a room right before we go . its cheaper to book them threw these guys . its 109 a night . but if you put three ppl per room then you pay 109 dollors for the whole weekend per person ( but you would pay for your room alone .. ) its a really nice hotel . i sware we only paid like 40 bucks a person last time but i cant seem to rember . but thats the spot . if you do book two rooms let me know that way i can let the other guys know to be ready to pay for it when we get there . we dont pay for it till we get ready to check out but you know how it is . i dont wany anyone to feel that there getting the shaft . i would book the rooms but i dont own a credit card .... with good reason .

Okay, I found out that the room is charged at the time of booking, which is fine, but I will have to wait a few more weeks to do it. My wife is not going. But I do have 1 definate rider, and 1 maybe. Oh, and 1 more thing. Do we need the room for Sunday as well, or are we heading home after Carlsbad? I wasnt sure if we were leaving Sunday or Monday morning. The rooms are 500.28 for 2 nights.and 746.40 for three nights. 2 night would average about 100 pp (if there are 5 of us.) We could also probably get 5 in 1 room which would only put us back 250.14, or 50.00 pp. It really don't matter to me so I'll let you guys decide.

Here are the prices if we can all cram into 1 room. Like I said, I don't care either way. I plan on sleeping on the floor. I'm sure the floor would feel the same no matter how many people are in the room... Besides, most hotels have guest cotts that you can put in the room. With a little rearanging, I am sure we can all fit.
