Had problems with mine also. bought an off brand name battery online. holds charge and last longer then original. Better to buy off brand, only like $60, honda shop wants like $140 and would probably be as good as original 1.

I remember when I got my battery at Cycle Gear awhile back, the guy was saying something about alot of the 2006 Hondas needing new batteries.... weird. Guess they did have alot of problems with them. I have no complaints with my original battery... it lasted 80,000 miles before it started getting weak. 48k on the 2nd one now with zero problems (another Yuasa, same as original)

My battery has died a few times, but both were my fault, 1, changing signal lights and intergrated tail light, i was turning ignition on and off a bunch of times to test, thought to take fuse out for headlight to save battery, but it was too late, wouldnt start, had to boost, 2, left in a garage for about 2.5 weeks. I have a battery tender which works great, all in all ive been ok w current one. Believe this is the 3rd summer though, so odds are ill pick up a new one next year, or better yet have it load tested first.
