I want a louder exhaust but I can't afford a slip-on. What are my options if any? I heard I can drill out the baffle. What exactly is the baffle. Just a metal cap or fiberglass packing? Will I lose too much back pressure doing this? Thanks for the help everyone!

I dont know how Honda did things back in the day of the F3, but the newer ones all have chambers made of metal inside the can. I have no clue how to get the baffles out without having to cut off the end/tip to remove the baffles. But, if you really just want to make some noise just take a long piece of rebar and cram it down the exhaust whole to punch holes in the baffles! It will make it louder and probably make it breath better. I have no idea about performance but, what could possibly go wrong? There should still be plenty of back pressure. Think about it, a few holes the size of rebar plus the normal sized baffle ports VS the long wide open tube of an aftermarket strap-on!

Why not just find a cheap used can?
