Get a service manual, btw.  Plenty of links on here for a freebie.

one more question from this newb lol, well i ran out of gas yesterday, and luckly i was at the gas station when it happend lol. but when i was about half a block from the gas station is when i knew i was about out. now my question is on the switcher thing ( dont know the tech term) where you can switch to your reserve tank, now which way is that suppoed to be for your reserve and for just the tank? because i switched it thinking yeah i will have some in the reserve tank, but nope nothing so that would be good to know so incase it happens again somewhere further from the gas station, i will atleast have the reserve tank to fall back on
