Any of you guys ever found an airport that lets you max out your bike or car?  I'm sure I've heard of it before but don't know of any specific airports that will let you "rent it out" or whatever - have any of you done so?  and where?!

i did some searching and found nothing!  I'm in a debate with my buddy who says no airport would allow that.  I vaguely remember seeing a post where liability and stuff was brought up but I can't remember if it was this forum or one of the billions of other forums i jump on...  maybe somebody with better searching skills can link me if it was here?

There is a place in Maxton, North Carolina that has a a closed runway and a bone yard for old planes. They open it up a few times a year for their mile long drags. It's pretty cool but it is some serious racing going on busa's and ZX-14's running over 200 mph. You'd have to become a member then pay registration fee's. If you took a bike straight off the street you'd look like a jackass. I have a buddy who run's a ZX-14 turbo charged, we'll be there in September on the 22nd and 23rd.

Here is the link to the East Coast Timing Association. http://www.ecta-lsr.com/

Check it out there are some bad ass cars that run also.
