Ive been scoping out Ebay and criagslist, and i didnt realize the worth of these bikes before i became an owner. i got mine for 2k,but it had some damage its a 93 900RR but it was beaten up badly, shes all restored now and i think ive spent about 1300.00 in parts and a few weeks labor
But from what im seeing i could prolly sell it for about 4300.00 or higher
Well im interested what do you guys value your 900RR at, and would you ever think to sell it?
i dont think i would sell mine.

I'm the same way, got mine a little beat up, cracked plastic, scratches, missing turn signals. I'm going through the task of rebuilding it and making it better. I don't think I'd sell it but if I did it would be for more than the 2700 I paid for it. Here's what it's looking like so far. Mine's the one on the right.

I've had my dearest 1993 friend since she was new, Valentine's Day in '94. White, blue and red. I, too, have seen prime examples going for close to 4k, but I wouldn't sell for less than, well, anything. Some friends are just too close. Has anyone ever heard of someone owning a sportbike in the U.S. continuously for a decade and a half? Actually, if someone wanted to trade their MV F4 Senna, I would have to make a new friend.

I am on my 3rd 900RR now. And by far my favorite!!! She's a mint 99 yellow/white/black paint scheme. The damn thing is so clean you can eat off the little rubber chain guide on the swing-arm... literally!!! Argue-ablly the most beautiful 900RR EVER MADE!! The bike has Scotts Dampner, yoshi pipe, mid range cams. The normal K&N, Jet kit and gold trimming to match the yellow paint. The bike has 12K on it and I saw a similar bike 100% stock with only 4K go for 5,000$ on ebay about 2 months ago. I would NOT and I repeat NOT go below 5,000$ for this bike. And I would have to be on my death bed to even consider it...... well **** it, burry the damn thing next to me!! :-)

Check her out in all her glory lol

I bought a 98 900rr for 4800$ it had 5416 miles on it but from what Ive seen going rate for 98-99 900rrs is 4000 to 6000 but once you drop a decent amount of money into it when it comes time to sell you will never get all back what you stuck into it

bought my 96 900rr under 20k miles, mostly stock well taken care of and i bought it for 3k and sold it with a bad speed sensor & temp gague and broken rear sprocket (most of the teeth were broken) for 3500

then bought my 2000 929 for 3500

so i kinda laugh (no offense) when i see an f2/f3/900rr go for the same price

I swap my zx6r to 98 rr last year and bought it for almost RM40000; convert to USD11500. Thanks to Malaysia goverment and taxes!!!

With that money I could have bought any brand new litre bikes anywhere else!!
