Have any of you fellow Canadians gone down to the states and imported a bike across the border?

Yep, did it for an older CBR - a 1992.  Was actually quite easy.  And since the bike is over 15 years old, I didn't have to go through the RIV program or do an inspection.  A new bike would be a little more paper work heavy because of the RIV program (http://www.riv.ca/english).
