I have seen them in Mag. but never really paid attention to them. My question is how do they install and where? Do you have to drill holes and modify anything or do they directly bolt on. Thanks

Frame sliders mount to engine mounts... and most of the time you will have to cut the fairing for them. But it's worth it, saved me twice from simple drops.

Shogun makes no-cut frame sliders for Honda's CBR1000RR - i have the whole set and worked out pretty well for me :-)
