Trying to find out whats a good carb setup been having alot of trouble getting my bike to run right its a 1998 CBR 600 F3 with Two Brothers header and muffler with a K&N air filter those are the only mods to the bike.
Wondering what jets people are running with full exhaust and filter I started of with 140s on the two outter carbs and 150's on the center the bike ran so bad I couldent ride it down the road
Now it has 160main jets in the two center carbs and the outter has 155 mains and its rideable kinda now but when I get up to 50mph it breaks up rediclously and then I cover my hand over the air box and it starts running good from 50+  today I put the 160 main jets on the outter and 170 main jets in the two middle carbs and its way to rich just sprits sputters at idle with black puffs of smoke

Could some one give me a good suggestion on what jets to run and how to set the needle up cause this is getting frustrating....Thanks alot

Keep all the jet the same.  You do not want one cylinder working harder than another.

Question:

I installed a DynoJet Kit in my bike.  The instructions had you place larger jets in the outter two carbs and smaller ones in the inner two carbs.

What do you same run the same jets across all four carbs?  and what's your data?

Cheers
