It never was any brand-new shit that I worried about because usually they come with a big payment and most guys haven't got the money to dump into getting it really ready to go. It was always what the shade tree mechanic had hooked up. That was about five years old that I always wondered about what was under the hood and if you've been listening to high-performance engines since you were a toddler. You have a tendency to know the difference between what horsepower and torque sounds like versus big pipe talk or should I say all show and no go LOL Oh one more thing what about those homemade Vega Cosworth with a 350 and a short shaft turbo 350 tranny pull the tires and change the plugs lol

ORIGINAL: punchit you are retarded! First off there is no such thing as "gt heads" and intake and an off road h-pipe only adds about 10 hp. So in other words take your gay bike and run an actual built 5.0 and tell us the outcome What makes his bike gay??? I have a 89' F1 that will take a F4 by almost 2 bike lengths 0-100

They do/did make GT-40 heads and intakes for the 5 liter mustang and explorer, they were relatively cheap and made decent power when ported and oringed if a blower was used. The stock heads on a explorer 5.0 where GT-40 x heads. AFR heads or Trick flows are the way to go though. The 93-95 Cobras had GT-40 packages, the last yr of the 5 liter in a Mustang. Just my 2 cents worth.

I used to have an 04 Intrepid SE. 2.7L V6 completely stock and I smoked the local SHOs all the time... I've never believed they are true performance sedans. I've also smoked F150 STXs chipped and exhaust. Late model medium modded Celicas... All in a stock Intrepid automatic... Wrider

I'll always have a soft spot for the Mustang, but here's 3 for you that are running in the mid-8 in a quarter mile with no BS Timeslips in hand to prove it and have got three more locally. Not on this forum. One them is a daily Rider http://www.cbrforum.com/timeslips/timeslip-details.asp?TimeSlipID=37 http://www.cbrforum.com/timeslips/timeslip-details.asp?TimeSlipID=74

One thing that might make PG happy is the mustangs with chevy small blocks in them.. lol drag machines. I know you guys will call it sacrilegous but I''ve seen some fast ones. At least it''s still an American car. :P I drive a 5.0 right now so I''m all for ford and the mustang.. REALLY fun cars but I wouldn''t say they''re as fast as I''ve heard some guys quote.. I saw one mustang that was completely built.. internals were even swapped out, the whole schebang and it still didn''t get around very much faster than my stock 5.0.. when $10,000 only makes a 1 second difference I tend to feel that it''s just a waste of money. For just a few thousand dollars you can make a whole lot of cars 11-12 second cars and that''s always been fast enough for me.. especially when these cars hardly make it on any tracks.

not an average stang, of coarse not, but my friend, if you were to line your 6 hundo up against a real good drag racer 5.0, youre gonna lose, no need to sell your bike cuz
