Guy rolled up next to me on the highway with a Foxbody 5.0 had the massive tach with the shifter light up on the dash, looked retarded. I was on the 87 Hurricane. Downshifted to third, The bike is so loud with the V&H that I didnt hear him honk, but saw him start to go. So i knuckled it passed him, upshited and pulled like he hit the brakes. Turns out the guy lives in the same town as me. Checked out the motor, Built 5.0, GT heads, Intake, FlowMaster H pipes, and not cats. Silly mustang.... what were you thinking.

you are retarded!  First off there is no such thing as "gt heads" and intake and an off road h-pipe only adds about 10 hp.  So in other words take your gay bike and run an actual built 5.0 and tell us the outcome

+1, my foxbody is only about a second slower than my 600rr on a good day, and it's not heavily built.   cages can be plenty of fun :)

My fox body runs 10.20s on motor no nos or power adders.  1.39 sixty foots. This will beat my 900rr but this is set up for the 1/4 mile and my 900rr will pass it like it is seating still after the 1/4.

I'm thinking if you could launch your 900 to get a 1.39 you'd have the fox beat .. lol ;) I know thats pretty much impossible just messing. Nice run for your fox body though!.

Come on guys, there is so such a thing a GT heads and intake... only we know them as "STOCK" or "OEM" heads and intake.

    Sorry Simma,
But I've had quite a few buddie's put as said above not alot of work into a Fox and they are by far the best bang for the buck.

The last 5 0 I had was a 1994 actually it was 327 stroke kit by Crawford, out of Florida with a set of dart stage two heads GT 40 extruder honed ported induction within R trim Paxton with a world-class T5 31 spline heavy-duty rear running a 375 gear. Nice little mustang hated to part with it . I got a 99 cobra with the motor out of it right now at my brother-in-law's. Pick it up for a song and dance about a years ago and haven't touched it. Guy was run 150 spray on it didn't purge it out. put the custom polymer spacer between the upper and lower intake into a couple of Pistons I guess when I get healed up, and winter gets here. I get around to it

BTW I had a Fox chassis a 88 speed density car sucked out loud trade it the next year for 94., the only thing missed was the high-back buckets and the 87/88 were the only ones that got them anyway.

I will admit I'm biased.  The first car ever drove was a 67 yellow GT convertible 289 HIPO.  I was only 13 it was my mother's car.  She sold it when I was 15 because I wouldn't leave in the driveway

playful God.  Don't let them cheap parts go to your Head  LOL

btw also had a GTA Trans Am with a 400 /375 built on the Langerfelt theory  fvck  the horsepower.  Give me that torque !! Really didn't see the numbers out of it I wanted until it got a Paxton anyway

PG you ever seen a bug with a 289 in it. Or one of those damn Pontiacs Fiero with a built Chevy V-8 small block in it you know the small block will bolt up to the damn stock bell housing for the transmission and now you want talk weight to torque ratio it is a monster. You know mathematics plays as big a role in performance as anything else. One of the best books I ever read on engine building and dragstrip technology is a book called the mathematics of performance. I can't remember the author's name, but it was a damn good book and let's be realistic. It all comes down to the age-old saying how fast you go is just a matter of how much money you have to spend
