The guy was absolutely genius... that part about the wedge to get into the seat is why that bike was so fast. The guy built it so it cut the wind really well - and handled really well.

There is a documentary on him that sometimes is on A&E IIRC... absolute genius... I can't watch the documentary enough... he schooled the big boys and it took years for them to catch up... sadly he passed on... the last great private builder.

Saw them running at a local track over in the UK once. They were over for the TT and were just running the bikes around an old disused airfield that was used for racing at club level. Fantastic sounding and looks, even bought one of their T-shirts.

I saw that documentary too on tv, can I say AWESOME.

That guy was really smart and I can't believe his bike was that much better than the factory compettion (at that time). 

There is some footage in the documentary of the bike racing and just pulling wheelies past everyone on the track.  Freaking amazing.

That bike is completely hand built, by ONE person......
I am speechless.
