The guy was absolutely genius... that part about the wedge to get into the seat is why that bike was so fast. The guy built it so it cut the wind really well - and handled really well. There is a documentary on him that sometimes is on A&E IIRC... absolute genius... I can't watch the documentary enough... he schooled the big boys and it took years for them to catch up... sadly he passed on... the last great private builder.
