i am going to post this in another area too, seems not to many people frequent the detailing section...

my question is this....the rear master cylinder is bare metal...i understand brake fluid is crazy corrosive....but i am wondering if i can paint the master cylinder...i have done some searching and it seems like you can but have yet to really find anything difinitive as to a yes or no....some say you can powder them....that would be great, but i really don't want to disassemble my master cylinder (i assume you would destroy the seals if you tried to powder it together)....so i guess if i take like engine paint or ceramic paint....you think i could get away with taking it off, plugging all the inlets and painting the thing...if so...what kind of prep should i do to it other than make sure it's clean....

i believe it's bare metal so i don't think i would need to sand it??

thoughts??
