Upon much closer review, I will definatly be keeping my '06.
Kinda of afraid to see what the front looks like.

If I wanted an ugly Gixxer, I would have bought one. Why did they copy it, because they win all the magazine tests?

Everyone complained about the front indicator lights being the same for 20 years and that's how Honda fixed it.

I guess it was to complicated to intergrate the lights into the fairing like the ZX10.

Why is the red one missing the rear plate and blinkers???? Looks like the fender eliminator was already applied. I thinks something funny is going on.

Your right those are the dumbist looking mirrors I have ever seen!!!

Me no like. The headlights and front cowling look so upright at a steep angle like a sport-touring bike does. Side fairings look 80's and the low-profile graphics are boaring. I hate to say it, but this bike looks horrible. Hopefully there's a TON of mechanical upgrades to suppress the fugly looks...if it's real.

I guess I'm a little odd. I like the looks - alot! Very polished and clean. The front profile reminds me a bit of the 929/954 models while the rear is very similar to the GP bike and the tail light appears to have stacked lights that reminds me of the old CBR900RR. I like the integrated mirrors and belly pan lower pipe. I want to see the bike from different angles and look at the gauges.

i agree, and the silver one is even a not for us market one if it is at all real. it has clear signals. us market doesnt allow them from factory.

+1 - The new Blade is hot!  A minimalist, form follows function, performance first design.  Intergrated mirrors: no more circa 1980's front blinkers.  I did like the undertail exhaust but the new exhaust design is growing on me aesthetically not to mention the effect on mass centralization

Is it September 28th yet?
