I don''t think it matters much really between the 80% Japanese, and the others. But I''ve been EXTREMELY happy with the current 5000k set I''m on now (I finally got the brightness and color I was looking for the whole time). And yes, I bought the 80% Japanese one, and it works flawlessly.

Blue Fox, With your current 5000k kit do you still get a hint of blue or is it pure white? Your experience > HID color chart.

The 6000k''s are pretty good. I like the 5000k because they are just a tad bit brighter (and whiter) on the road surface. But usually any aftermarket HID kits tend to run a bit more blue/purple than OEM kits. Meaning, if you compare an OEM BMW, Audi, Mercedes, etc with a 4300k bulb temperature to a 4300k aftermarket HID kit, the aftermarket kit will tend to have more blue and/or purple. That''s why I recommend people get the lower K kits.
