Silverstar bulb question - 9/5/2007 5:39:20 AM    xtremef4i   Posts: 295 Joined: 11/16/2006 Status: offline I know there are a lot of posts on the silvania silverstar bulbs, but I was scrolling through Ebay and found a set of silverstar ultras.  The ultra claims to be 25% brighter and last longer compared the the regular silverstar.  Has anyone had experience with the silverstar ultra or does anyone know if the ultra is truly better than the regular silverstar? But, I do know the Osram Silverstars work well. There is no tint on the bulb unlike the Silverstars you get at Walmart or Autozone. They are just bright. Most important, dont try to run a higher wattage bulb! You will fry/melt your wires!! $$  (in reply to xtremef4i) Post #: 4
