So I bought my first bike on August 13th 2007. '07 CBR600RR. I've been learning around town how to ride it and practice emergency braking/braking in turns/ and just getting use to the bike in general Well I took it for a 150mile highway this past weekend. This was my first trip ever on a bike where I was going 70+ mph for 2 hours straight. It was definately a different experience but in 75 degree weather not a cloud in the sky, what's not to love right? ..lol But I'd tell you what .. on the way home in the middle of the day on the interstate I starred down a deer on the shoulder ... that was a little scary, that god he didn't move.

Well this weekend I'm going to go up to a small town near me called Tuggles Gap, near Floyd, VA. Apparently they just put new ashaplt down and its two lanes going around a mountain. I've been told its heaven for us 600 sport bikes .

Just be careful. Ride within your limit and have fun. It's better to brake too much than too little.
