That side shot of the new zx-10 looks like the GSXR1000. This bike looks awesome. The only thing i didn't like was the diamond headlight. But yeah performance tends to make ugly look good. I agree there.

All Honda had to do was make the new cbr1000rr look as close to if not identical to the RCV212V. Hotcakes.

And kawi needs to start thinking about different shades of green..................

The 2008 ZX-10R is out on the Kawasaki site right now. No idea if they will recall the images like they did with the 1KRR. All specs are TBD except for the 12.7:1 compression ratio. Only side views available. Only the nauseating cough medicine green is displayed at this time. Anway, the photo I am replying to is not the real deal. Your other visordown.com photo looks pretty on target.

seen a few pics of the zx10 and the 1krr. but im anxious to see the new rc61. the rc51 replacement. supposed to be a 1098 stomper.

I didn't see these exact photos I found on this Italian site (the exhaust differs from the one in that other photo). Could also be photoshop, but it looks just like the bike in the video capture. Anyone read Italian?

Holy cow. Is it supposed to be coming out in '08? I knew nothing about it. Man, the Buell 1125R and the RC-61 in the same year? The v-twin scene is going to get sick.

Hey RICHS65 where was u been all other Jap bike release their liter bike already. Honda is the only one still holding it. The ZX10R picture is now on Kawi official website (well not yet the spec but atleast the pic and yes same w/ this pic fugly stupid side exhaust again so sad :( ). Check it again man. Cause I'm going crazy with the 08 1Krr too.

Yes Su 1000 also came out with 3 color I couldn't rememember all but I know the 07 black orange is not avaiable anymor for 08 they replace that with a black and yellow.

I disagree. It appears to me that every aspect of this bike has been meticulously engineered for performance and I believe that this includes the styling of the front. It would be my guess that a flatter "nose" would promote a higher pressure area around the air ducts.

In the past, Honda has bought racing success by applying liberal amounts of money to transform mediorce stock machinery into competitive race bikes.

My Suzuki M109 is probably the best looking motorcycle that I have ever seen. All of the 1000s are uncomfortable to ride and unpractical EXCEPT when you want to ride the fastest machine available - preferrably at the track.

I have put my money down. My guess is that the 08 1000RR will own all of the others.

Anybody follow F1? Recall the "myearthdream.com" early release that wasn't supposed to happen? Pulling the pics from the site sounds fishy to me, but you never know. My guess is they are the official pics, they just weren't supposed to be posted yet.

These pictures are circulating on the internet that are asserted to be the official pictures of the new CBR 1000 RR 2008 fireblade.

Don't know if this is the actual front of the new 08CBR1000RR, but here is more spectulation to go buy until Friday the 28th, the official release date.

Here is the quote that came with the Picture.................................

All right, so the speculation has come to an end - what you see here isn't some computer-generated rendering, but the real deal, the brand-new, 2008 Honda CBR1000RR. Technical details are not available at this time, but as is evident from the photograph, the new CBR1000RR (it actually doesn't say 'Fireblade' anywhere on the bike...!) has been heavily restyled - the fairing is all new as is the MotoGP-inspired rear end and the stubby exhaust system. The chassis and swingarm also seem to be new, the turn-signals have been integrated into the rear-view mirrors, and the bike seems to have been given GSX-R/R1-style air-intakes next to the headlamps. Power output is likely to be in excess of 170bhp. Stay tuned for more details and pics.
