Just out of curiosity -- how much does the stealership want for one? I'm of the opinion that if you can prove you own a vehicle the owner's manual should be free. Seems like that might mitigate future legal problems for the company plus serve as customer good will gesture. I know almost all gun manufacturers will send you a free owner's manual.

"stealership" hehehe, good one. yeah well the dealership said they lost it when i bought the bike and wanted to charge me for it. i didnt argue because i got one helluva insane deal on my 1000rr. couple of g's under msrp, so im wasnt going to rock the boat. but i dont know what the dealership charges. but thanks for the info, i think i will try that legal fact with them and see what happens.

There's a manual (300 MB) and parts manual (3.6 MB) available for download off the net. Linky

The 300 mb is the service manual not the owners manual. I got that CD and would share it 4 free -- unless anyone is offended by me having it and sharing it therefore I may not have it. Don't be confused -- we used to have issues on this site with stuff like this.

stephygee was correct, any manual of any kind is usually found free of charge on that company's website
