ok sorry for the Ghost rider, but finally got an update i hope.. Gave it a good trickle charge bike sat for a few days after checking it before starting it was at 12.2.. so that seems ok while i still had my meter on it i started her up with full choke idle was just below 2000rpm.. I noticed the volts jumping around 13-14 so cool, i let it warm up now with choke off and at idle about 1100rpm i noticed the voltage droping big time!!! got below 12 gave her a rev and she jumped up to charging status...

So i sat back and started thinking to myself i few weeks ago i messed with the idle adj so it would idle about 1100 and it hit me like a Rock!! the bike doesnt charge unless idling at 1300+.. CRAP so all the street driving i did stop light here and there slowly drained the battery .....

So lesson learned GO BY THE BOOK.. they no what there talking about... If you dont have your idle right where it should be MOVE IT BACK!!

Thanks everyone for your input and advice...... You guys ROCK...

Hey just so you know this is the start of the stator rectifier problems.  Which are under warranty now.  Take the piece of junk in before it does major damage to you harness and eveyrhting else.  Trust me i'm on my 3rd warranty repair of the piece of junk.  Just picked the bike up today and it made it a whole block from the shop before it broke again.  GOOD LUCK
