And this is why, when I clean my carbs.... I don't bother taking it apart.... I just flush it out with carb cleaner.... like seriously. Lol. Sorry to hear about that man. I'll let you know how my rebuild goes and if I run into problems. Hopefully yours is an easy fix. Cheers -Jasper

I didnt take my carbs *apart* I left them all attached to each other and opened the float bowls and vacuum chambers and cleaned out the bowl, jets, butterfly valves and all of the little passageways. I think I'm just not getting fuel to the 2 cylinders that arent firing, 1,2 cylinders are fed seperately from 3,4 so there must be a kink or a blockage on that side...

Oh, and just running carb cleaner through is not an efficient way to clean your carbs... You never know if they're clean unless you can see the jets and little holes inside, and it's usually varnished pretty bad or rust from the gas tank has everything coated... The carb cleaner might loosen some of it up but it will just settle back again. It's better to do it the hard way once, than to do it the wrong way many times.

HAha really!? Just that!? I'm planning on changing my lines as well. Because honestly, if they're old, they're bound to break. Well I'll take my carbs apart like you said. Just the bowl side to clean out the inside. Don't wanna tamper with stuff that's not within my knowledge yet. lol. Like sync.-ing the carbs and what not. Glad to hear she's up and running. How's she running? Purring like a kitty? Or rawring like a lion?

Well, actually I'm back on 3 cylinders lol... I cant figure out why this one cylinder isn't getting fuel! When you do your carbs, open up the bowl and the chamber on the other side, keep track of everything you do so you can put it together properly the first time!
