Looking to pick up a new bike next year (waiting for the08).  Anyways I am 6'4" 200lbs.  Had a 600rr and it was a little uncofortable on long rides and in full tuck.  wondering if the 1000rr would be any better.  Looking for a longer reach and a little more leg room.  Looking fellow 1000 owners opinions.

I ride an 06 1kRR & I am 6'1" 230 lbs. This is my second bike, I had an 94' 600 F2 before and it was very comfy. Before I bought my 1K I had my friends 04 600RR for a week and rode that everyday. It wasnt comfy at all. Im not big on the power difference, Im all about how I feel on the bike vs. power. I feel I have more control on my 1k than the 600RR. When I got my 1K I still had to move the bars out alittle for a better reach. But over all I love it!
I never tell people to get a 1k, because the bike does have alot of power....... even to much for 99% of people that ride them. But if you ride safe and you are a bigger guy than a 1000RR is a good idea.

yo yellow05   im 6'2" bout 245 with a 06 1000rr and im really comfy on it even on long rides     i dont have to lean to far but the only draw back is that my fat a$$ cant tuck down to far    win some loose some

thanks guys not getting one for the power difference my 600rr had plenty of power for me, just want something a little more comfy.  Loved the ability to flick the 600 around and i am sure that i will have the same from the 1000.  Probably going to check out them next spring.

you should be able to flick the 1000 around better than the 600. i had a 04 600 then switched to an 06 1000 and immediately noticed that the 1000 is a better handling bike, plus i can lean way more in the corners.
