I need to get me a tripod... I like the look of FFingers light bars, they seem like they're slimmer than what I have, from what I can tell, and that would make them easier to mount somewhere... I did a small write-up, sorta, on where I put mine... and I'll try to take some better pictures that aren't blurry sometime soon, if I can.

Find the thread I did, ==>HERE<==

Just bustin' yo chops!

Never heard of someone having too much light to work on something though... I must be getting old.  Kids today have too much light!

Kids...lol...i am as old as you are...haha....

no just placing the LEDs...you can't do it very well if it's well lit...you can't really see how the light is going to reflect off the bike...rather it just looks very localized....those LEDs are very bright and look VERY different in a lighted garage vs. how they will look at night...

so considering you are running wire throughout the bike, i don't want to guess on my placement, i want to do it once and leave it...

Here is a video of my bike that my friend wired up. Just to give you some other ideas to do to it.

Sorry not sure how to add videos without a link yet.

All documentation would be nice, but especially the swith installation. I had bought streetfx led lighting which came with no switch or instructions for that matter. Anyhone intersted in these specific lights, should check Best Buy every now and then as  bought it for 50% off during a sale--very worth it even if I have to find a switch.

^ +1

I would love full documentation as I am planning on doing this to my bike soon.

BTW your bike diary is sweet/helpful.  Keep it up.

What I am interested in is.....location location location, who can post some example pics showing where u can mount the lights? I am slowly testing diff locations, in fact, i will post some. My concern is the front end and below my bike, where can I mount the lights so they dont burn up or end up completely visible.

under the rear fairing they are attached to the sub frame..by the lower fairings...i have them attached to the frame where it arches near the opening....and at the lowest point...they are mounted to the bolt tabs for attaching the lower fairing
