I run 36 front -42 rear tire preasure. I am currently running pilots on my F4. I put a new set when I had the bike inspected- and my front tire is already worn out in only 6000km, the rear tire has accelerated wear but is round and would pass inspection. The front wore out in a strange way - it has a minor flat spot (3/4" wide and not very pronounced). The weird part is that on either side of the middle are two flat spots - and then rounded on the outside 3/8"'s edge where I spend less time... I've never had a tire wear out like this before - it has 3 bands of flat - one on each side and a minor one down the middle... it is as if I have ridden in a circle at a constant lean angle for hours. It is not scalloped - it is smooth. I guess I'll be looking for new tires - I'm not sure if I'll just toss on some take-offs or try something different. Avons are getting lots of praise for touring and I may go that route and swap for the track.

Have you changed your suspension settings with these tires? Maybe there is too much preload in the front?

Yo Woot, double check this info but I think there's a Michelin Pilot recall. But again double check.

These tires didn't fall into the recall unfortunately... otherwise I'd be getting a new front anyhow The suspension is set up for me on the track... so it is very hard by street standards. I will re-evaluate it the setup as it's not hard to get back to where I am now...
