Testing waters for a 200cc Phoenix R2 scooter, moped, sport-bike, whatever this thing is. This is the successor to the air-cooled 125cc model, which many scooter dealers carry. This one however, is very rare. The body is a 3/4 scale replica of a CBR1000RR and the engine is a copy of a 200cc Honda trailbike motor. It's a freak of nature/engineering that I got imported from China. I just took it out of the crate a few days ago. Reason for selling is, I'd much rather have money in the wallet than a scooter in my driveway.

Here's a few things I know about this particular bike:
Tops out at 80-90mph with stock gearing.
replica of Honda trailbike motor (easy to find replacement parts from what I hear)
water-cooled unlike many pocket-bikes
Comes with a Manufacturer's Certificate of Origin

Located in Starkville, Mississippi. Local pickup is preferred.
Asking price is $2350. Dealers don't even have this bike yet.

Any other questions I can answer here, or PM me.

this is probably why there are no takers...there is a problem with customs from what i understand (the bikes arent street legal yet) but if/once they do that, vermino can get them for half of what you want...

can u take a pic with someone sitting on it...its hard to get an aspect of 3/4 scale with those pics. lol

Neon, there's pics and video on the thread that catamayo posted.

Mine made it through US customs, but there were some fees involved. And I didn't buy 20, so I couldn't take advantage of that bulk discount. It's a win and a lose in my book.

Is it street legal, is there a title, is it insureable?  Just wondering the legalities of something like this for my wife and a very short friend of mine

It's definitely street legal since it has lights/blinkers/etc. It comes with a manufacturer's bill of origin, which you can take to the DMV and get a title. It may be tricky since it's from overseas, but there have been people that have registered theirs before.
