wassup guys, I'm new to the forum and i'm a complete noob with motorcycles as the streetfighter F2 i have right now is my first bike. Anyway my battery died a couple days ago so instead of buying a new one, I decided to recharge it. I recharged for an hour or 2 then it everything started fine. Then today I decided to hook up the charger again to recharge it 100%. My battery charger supposedly has an overcharge protection system but i dont think it turned off wen it was fully charged and might have overcharged my battery.

So basically..nothing works now. Doesn't crank, lights don't turn on, etc. I was just wondering if it could be another problem before i go out nd try putting in a new battery? Help me out please, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks

okay so i installed a new battery today..same thing. nothing turns on. so something obviously happened while i was charging the old battery. Btw I just read on the battery charger instructions that on motorcycle batteries you're supposed to use 2V but i used 6V. Anyone know what the problem is? Help me out please

You might have burnt a positive that has gronded out. Look along the frame of the bike where the wires run. Hope that helps.
