Does anyone read the SuperBike mag out of the UK. Its a great publication, with lots of good info. Anyways, they used to compare all the different used bikes (600, 750, 1000, v-twin, etc..) in different classes. Reigning champ was the "99+ CBR F series", "best all-around bike that money could buy." Now I might be a little biased, but this does say alot. I can push away from my buddies 01 GSXR-600 and another friends 99 R6. Now a new bike probably not, but all and all the CBR was a great bike, easy to fix, and easy to get mods for it. I could have never made a better purchase. Peace

Well if the F4 makes about 90-95 HP at the rear tire then that would make it about 110HP at the crank. When a new vehicle be it car,truck or bike is HP rated it's always at the crank-not the wheels. A stock 1990 Mustang GT is rated at 225HP,but only put's about 200HP to the wheels. I do know that my bike is damn fast for a older carbed 600. The same day I got my F4 I was looking at a 2001 R6 and I choose the F4-glad I did.
