Has anyone installed performance after market pistons on their 1kRR? Are they worth it? Do they reallly make a differance to the power or torque????

I have, great improvement my pistons are the erion 2 ring piston. Burns a little more oil than I like but lot more power.

    just out of curiosity, how much more power are you looking for.

the HRC power up kits are nice

HRC kits are nice but they cost an arm and leg. Iv never heard of erion pistons on this side of the pond. Do you have a dyno graph Joker.?

i dont know it it makes any differance but i used to race go-karts and i ran wiseco pistons in our engines and it was a total improvement from stock but of course we also used other parts such as hardened cranks adjustable cams, i beam rods .etc   but my money would be on the wiseco pistons

I hope this dyno sheet uploaded .The numbers are 179.07 hp at 94.46 ft.lbs at 12087 max rpm. If it didn't upload I'll try again.
