i have heard that power wheelies are 10x harder to control etc. and have heard that they are harder to balence but then u clutch it up wouldnt u have the same thing with giving it gas because when u clutch it up you have to give it some to get to bp as well as when u do a power wheelie ive been experimenting and the power seems easier for me

I am just starting to do wheelies and I have done it both ways. I prefer clutching it because it is more predictable. Powering it up seems smother but it seems harder to judge. At least that is my opinion.

You really need to keep that on the back roads until you get the hang of it..

You have yet to do a wheelie.  Put some gear on, slow down, and use the clutch.

Read the reply that twistatech did on what's so wrong with power wheelies. He did a nice job on explaning the dangers with power wheelies. If your new to wheelies and your just bringing it up a foot or so,then it's a good place to start to feel the front end getting light. But clutching up 2nd is so much smoother and alot more predictable.

You shouldn't have to snatch so hard on it if you learn to clutch it. Geez, your working your ass off. LOL.

that was the WORST video i have ever seen. no offense but its obvious at this juncture that you dont know what you are doing, youre a danger to yourself. slow that shit down and to qualify for a wheelie the front wheel needs to be higher than 18 inches

Thats why i posted it in this topic, its a great example of how NOT to do everything. If i were that horrible i would take up model building, or knitting or something. It was just so horrible i had to post it though    Just in case its not perfectly clear, that is not me, not my bike, or anyone i would even associate with.

don't listen to any of these guys, power wheelies are da shit! clutching is VERY dangerous and illegal.

i'd recommend getting one of these if you wanna learn quick...

haha thats pretty funny im gonna get myself a set of gears and see how much easier it it but i still cant get the hang of clutching it and the power wheelie does get you a good feel for the front end comming up and it feels awesome
