at least in pa you must have auto as well

State Farm doesnt even cover new policies in NJ

Incorrect. I have a motorcycle only policy with them. They can''''t beat allstate for my home and wifes car, but they saved me like 80% on my bike. Not having a policy with state farm, they had to send my quote to their underwriter for review, and it was approved, and they insure my 06 1krr for 435.00 a year full coverage zero deductable. Allstate here (washington) won''''t write sportbikes, at least my agent will not. I think its a by local thing for the different ins. agencies, cause with state farm, I have sent several buddies to my agent for a motorcycle only policy and they saved a ton, regardless of always hearing the whole you can''''t have ins with state farm unless you have a car and so on.......
