The bad:

-Bike won't start. The seller said he hadn't ridden it in 3 months but I think it's been a lot longer. Has a new battery and the starter sounds fine, the bike just won't fire, even w/choke out.

-Chain is rusty, very loose and has no lube

-- Bad head bearing.  Not sure on cost figure couple hundred dollars. This also assumes the forks and triple clamps are good shape (not bent)

-Front rim is bent. There's a small kink where he hit something on the edge of the rim.

-- new rim $500 or 600 oem.

-Seat is torn and looks like it's been in the sun for yrs. Needs a new seat cover.

-- not sure what a covers cost

-Both left/right fairings where the integrated front turn signals are located are cracked from going down.

-- If wanting replacements $200 a piece unpainted

-Front/rear tires are rideable but don't have much tread left

-- New 350 total depending on brand.

-Scratches here and there on the bike, and the clearcoat on the tank where you would put the tank sticker to prevent your belly rubbing it is coming off.

-The guy drove through tar or something, because there's spatter on the right fairing and the front airdam below the radiator. A bit on the engine, but not much.

-- good degreaser not toxic to the alumminum coating.

-Some fairing screws are missing and the tank is a little loose.

-- Screws are too expensive and easy enough to get


Labor from a shop, well 70 or 80 an hour. Though you are in Hawaii though so not sure if labor rates are close. Of course my estimates are that. You maybe able to get this stuff cheaper on ebay or even here.

Based on the bad, I would closely inspect the frame.

I'm sorry to hear this bike was not what was advertised. Alway hate to see that.
