I really think its unfair with the work that some people put in to keep their older bikes PRISTINE that theyre going HEADS UP with brand new models........weigh in if you have an opinion.....

Well, right now, we are having a tough time trying to get 5 bikes nominated for ROTM. I can't imagine trying to get 10.
We can throw it around though. Then we would have to get a specific cut-off year for that too.

That really isn't a good example to use.  I don't want to trash it because I like the mono-post but the noise is in primer. The tank and wheels look like they haven't been painted to match the rest of the paint job. I assume that this is a work in progress but it does take time and money to work on a bike. If you would post this in the ROTM in it's current state it would loose every month.  Finish the paint and it would be a contender.  If you look at the majority of the bikes that are ROTM's they have everything together and look smooth.  It is hard to win when there is a a newer RR hooked up in the mix. They just look so darn sexy!

being an old bike, no illusions about winning with mine, I would rather win in an all out rotm than in a sub category.  Some have come quite close, second numerous times, like bindelsf2 and cityworker.  It is just a matter of time and it will happen, and be that much sweeter for whoever wins it.  At least that is the way that I see it.  Just keep nom'ing them and show your support.
