This thing is hideous.... Everything from other bikes I didn't like they went and put on the '08 Just like OneRedRider said: R6 tail/mudflap/rear seat GSXR Mirrors/Exhaust(with a plastic cover) Ducati 1098/Kawasaki ZX-10 Nose The sharp lines of the 06-07 is what hooked me and it is all gone now.(except the front fender) Why the front/mid fairing makes a line going almost straight down is beyond me. Makes it look slow just sitting there! Im sure the performance is going to be better but DAMN you still gotta be able to get the girl on the back!!! HAHA

This bike blows. The tail looks so retarded and the short exhaust is stupid. Why are all new bikes being made with the short erexhausts? That makes the bikes look so stupid. I think the exhaust is one of the best looking features on any bike and when its made shorter it takes away the apeal of the bike. I've always liked hondas but after seeing this bike, -1 for honda.

My guess would be the short exhaust has lower back pressure or something else to help with performance.

I'm thinking the short exhaust is all about weight and CG. Not only is it lighter when it's shorter, the CG of the whole exhaust is really low now. Of course, I could be wrong!

UGLY, and i may have to jump brands. That i dont want to do because i am a die hard honda rider. They need some eye exams cause you could starve a dog for a week and tie a steak to the bike and the dog will not go around this thing.

Anyone worried if the new bike would be fast or not can get their deposit in now. According to Freddy Spencer, Duhamel tested the new bike in SuperStock form, and was over 2 seconds faster than the 07 Superbike. I wasn't able to get info on what track though. Regardless, this is VERY good news.

I think the bike looks nice, I'm not so sure about the exhaust, but overall, good on the eye.

all the bikes are going to mass centralization. moving massto the lower mid section of the bikes. buell does it, and now the big four are doing it. the new pipe looks bad but the rest is ok? and who keeps the stock pipe anyways? will have to see it in person. i love the look of the 06-07 thats why i bought my bike. plus i got a heck of a deal on it? face it with strick euro3 specs, if they want to keep uping the power on bikes they are gonna change like it or not. and a big ugly pipe that can keep the noise and what not down. with still flowing good enough to make more power then last years bike.like the others said this is the new wave of super bikes like it or not. i for one am glad i bought my 06 a few weeks ago. figure i got lots of miles ahead of me before i need a new bike again!
