This thread blows, and Honda didn't *mad* it they *MADE* it.

God, kids these days.

They're vinyl's, and I custom made them for my bike (and did "Captain Slow's" bike too. The design was inspired by the 1kr, but looks much different when side by side. Thanks for the compliments.

I think they were thinking lets make a bike with the biggest, badest rear view mirrors of all time. Lets make them so big there as big as headlights. Yeah, that would be cool and everyone will want to buy them and they wont be able to take them off because then they will have no blinkers and get f'd with even more by the popo. Anyway, that's what I think they were thinking.

From what i've heard Honda could care less about its looks, their focus is on coming out with a litre bike that will blow everything else away. Cant wait until March of next year to see if it bears fruit.

Ugly.........But then again I remembered when the mighty Busa came out and thought it was ugly.  Maybe Honda can wait 9 years for people to like this design.

All they had to do is stick headlights into the RC212V.

Took a look at the 08 and then purchased the 07 just because I did not like the exhaust on the new one. But I do like the integrated signals on the mirrors and the LED lights.

They were thinking "we want to win races ... to hell with the posers!"

No they were thinking "only posers want to ride on the street without mirrors so we'll focus on the trackday crowd and kill two birds with one stone ... when you remove the mirrors you also remove the signals."
