just got finished painting.  first time painting a tri color pearl.  i like the pearl a lot.  cant really see it in the pics, but in sunlight it just comes way out

next im gonna go back to a low mount exhaust and shorty can.  gonna also use some black exhaust wrap this time to go with the theme.

and the before shot:

Here's my F3 almost done, still going to paint the tail maybe, and change out the mega-bubble windscreen(if anyone has one to trade let me know) and do some touching up. Then a few more goodies later on, carbon exhaust, tank cover, mirror plates or 2-1 adaptors, seat cowl, etc.

So far I just did some little things, was stock when I got it, one of the purple/yellow deals.. did the grips, carbonworks mirrors, frame sliders, CF decals- not the wings they're black, alarm, flush mount signals(fronts are for an RR I think), re-brushed the rims, then the exhaust which as chrome but the finish was all spotted and stained so just brushed it too..the wings didn't come out quite how they are supposed to, some tough curves to stick to and kinda messed up so had to work with what was there, still have to see what I can do with it. Also had to skin the front fender with the CF vinyl since the paint was all messed on it. Also a homemade fender eliminator- chop it off with a hacksaw, remount the plate mount part and stuff the light for it up behind the taillight, works great.

Just finished painting it this weekend (4/20/08).  Was the nasty purple/black/neon yellow before.

I like the red and black. Reminds me of my F3.
