Ruthless, I'm looking at that last picture again and it ALMOST looks like a yellow racing stripe going down the middle on top of the bike.  That would look sweet.  You could do it with some strips of vinyl signmaking tape and then if you didn't like it, you could peel it right off.

Hey Pacemaker, I'm assuming your's is a '97. I don't suppose that you know where someone can look at a parts manual for your particular version online do you ? Great looking bike by the way.

Mine is a 98, but there is a link to a manual on the site somwheres "StephyGee"   www.stephygee.com

Oops, your after a "Parts" manual?? see wot I can do

Here's my 97 F3. It has integrated rear turnsignals, front flush mount signals, double bubble windscreen, anodized bolts, levers, and bar ends. Also has custom seat cover, Wileyco Exhaust, F4i rear shock, front lowered and inch, and wheel tape. I think thats about all I've done to this bike.

Wow, I like how that lowered front end looks - is it just a matter of loosening up the triple clamp and letting the fork tubes come up an inch or is there more to it than that?

Thanks! It's not perfect by any means...the PO dropped it and it has a bunch of scratches etc but she still has more to offer than I can handle anyways! The good part is now that I have had it for a season and it needs some work I won't feel bad tearing into it a bit...nothing major but will likely replace the worn out sprockets by dropping a tooth up front and maybe a carb jet kit. Also gotta figure out a good way to polish out the minor scuffs on the tank. Lots of play time in the garage now that the winter months are headed this way! Southern Ontario doesn't exactly have the longest riding season...

corrrect just loosen the triple tree and slide the fork tubes up and inch. I also have the F4i rear shock on it which raised the rear about and inch. Made the bike turn in like a dream, not to mention it has the 120/70ZR17 front tire on it.

Just a quick note for ya on the sprockets.  I don't know if you've replaced them before or not.  But I ran into a problem where I couldn't get the nuts loose.  Don't take the tire off.  Try to loosen the nuts on the bike,  if that doesn't work.  Get yourself a nice impact wrench and they'll come right off.!

Thanks notny41. I do have a friend in the sign business that does the vinyl. I just can't make up my mind what to do. I like the racing stripe idea, Thanks.

I know I've said this before, but you guys certainly get some tasty standard graphics & colours with your bikes, we share the same ones with our European brothers, maybe they think where conservative!. (If you have ever met an Australian you would know how wrong that is! lol)
