Ah-hah, what? What difference does it make? You just proved that you do equate inexperience with stupidity. You don't do nice with stupid, you don't do nice at all. What you cannot do, is resist raking your beak across anyone that's less than thou, which is, without exception, all comers. Each and every one of your feral replies is caustic, demeaning, and barely veiled as a finger in the air 'fvck you'. Why it is that sixhundeadrr and HomoSTDfan26 want to ingratiate themselves onto your buzzard's branch is beyond me, unless their oxy scrips are out and kicking grade-schoolers while they're down is the quickest way to spur their mewling asses high again. Get down off your anal importance post, nightslug, it's aggravating and stupid--your two most favorite things.

You have generalized his replies into one big category of disdain. I've seen him give good advice to people who came in here with a legitimate question, who did research on their own and could not find the answer. He is respectful to those who have taken the time to try and help themselves. I share his intolerance for stupidity, and if being intolerant means that you consider me his branch buddy, so be it. Sometimes the truth is exactly what people do not want to hear. Does that mean you don't say it to them?

Mexpipe, sorry to trash your thread. I hope you get your problem fixed soon. Having a bike that doesn't opperate properly is no fun. If your buddy can't figure it out, get it to the dealer ASAP. It's a beautiful bike and a wobble is very serious. I won't be back in here to argue.

Why it is that sixhundeadrr and HomoSTDfan26 ...

That was not nice. It would seem to me you denigrated yourself to the very level you have accused SixHundred of living at. For the record, my sexual preference is not in question here and you have no basis for the unfounded assumption that I have STD(s) or am a fan of them.

I'm sure the hours you spent searching through your bedside thesaurus to sling around a few words you think might stump others makes you feel like your time was well spent. Keep in mind, we're not all the uneducated idiots you think we are. Aside from that fact, an English major (or just about anyone with a high school diploma) would have a field day with the grammatical issues of your most recent posts (that I feel sure you think are canny). So stop playing like you're someone special and just realize nobody really gives a rat's a** what you think. Awww...were you not loved enough by mommy and daddy as a child? I understand why...

In any case, you are all but comical to me...but this is nothing new is it now hotshot?

You might have others fooled...

You know how the rest goes...

Ok...now you can go back to playing around with your thesaurus smartguy.

You are correct, of course, that was not nice and I'm sorry. Would that I were canny--yet I've already stated how much I suck at improv, much less with any forethought. I am woefully uneducated (hence the lax structure and breach in proper form you alluded to) and my penny ante hip-shots are as tripe as my involvement in this thread. I am clearly not wise enough to make nevermind the fact that a dick will always be a dick--as I am a very accomplished and experienced one myself, which is perhaps the only title that allows me to lay claim to those adjectives. Smart? No. Choleric? Yes. So, once again, I apologize for besmirching your name and that of MotoGP itself.

Smart? No.

I would be inclined to disagree with you. Because you like to thumb through your thesaurus before you post? No. Because you post with such eloquent cynicism? Yes. Cynicism of this magnitude is usually only reserved for smart people. "Formally educated" or not, I would be willing to bet your aptitude is rather phenomenal...but that's just a guess.

On a side note, I'm a bit worried as you were so quick to call me a homo (or it was at the least implied) and in your most previous recent post you threw around the word "dick" like you were quite enjoying it. Is there something you're not telling us?

Perhaps there is some underlying etiology for this sort of behavior on your part?

Why don't you just come on out of the closet...I'm sure no one will really mind.

Ok...now to get back on topic...

Mexpipe I hope you did not take what I said the wrong way. I did not want to say you can't ride.  I was trying to say what ? ? ? said he just got in to more detail, high speed rt. hand turns are harder like he said.    So I do not want you to think we are all a bunch of tools that crap on the newer ridders out here.   Everyone lears new things every day I have been ridding for over 20 years and I still pick up a lot of tips.

If you have an owners manual then you can set up the front suspension to make sure both forks have the same compression, rebound , and dampening but keep in mind that the writing on the top of the fork legs won't necessary line up on both legs the same.
When my 04 1000rr was right from the dealer the writing on the top of the fork legs looked the same (Both from left to right and on the top) but after I counted the clicks out from one extreme end, as directed in my owners manual and service manual, I found the the writing on top of the forks were not the same. As a matter of fact the left fork had writing that was upside down and the one on the right was sideways. I had to be very careful because I kept losing count of the clicks since you need like 9 clicks from one extreme to get to the center adjustment (Read your manual). I set both fork legs rebound, preload, and compression at the midpoint until I was able to test the ride quality. Then I softened the suspension (all 3 settings) until I got the ride quality I felt was good for the mix of driving I did. Even preload was done by trial and error. I just tried to measure from a place on the bike that would change when I sat on the bike. My preload is probably not set up exactly correct but it seems to work for my riding.
If you have a track near you, you may be able to find someone to help you set up your bike. Just call and see if they have someone they recommend or stop by some time when they have a session going.
The best bet is to stop at your dealer and they can test ride it and tell you if something is really wrong or if it is rider error.

well the bike is back from the dealer and they said that one of the forks was off but not to cause really big problems
there is no track near me but I am looking forward to going to Dallas and getting the bike dialed in on the suspension side
