Awesome job.  I just got smoked by a cager and thankfully its only cosmetic damage.  I'm going to take the opportunity to do what you did with the f4i fairings.  Everything seems straight forward, only question is how did you wire the headlights up?  Were there any modifications requried?

Thanks,
Chris

taillight is straight forward but you'll have to either wire it direct or make up a plug since the 600rr plug and the F3 plug are different. headlight i just used a couple relays to get them to work like the F4i. they are controlled by the stock f3 headlight switch and i fed them power from the battery so i could up the wattage if i wanted.

Think u can elaborate on the headlight? As in a diagram and maybe what relays u used?

Thanks

Well I just wanna get things right and not be second guessing stuff on my bike, thats kinda the whole point in drawing up a guide. Right?

Edit: On the lower fairing where u made the new bracket for them to attach to the frame, did u srew that to the frame or weld it. (I think u said its aluminum so u didnt weld it if so.)

There are many different options to mount the side fairings. What i did is made a bracket that came off the upper motor mount bolt. It just happened to be the perfect position. I got this idea after looking at a buddies GSXR. His fairings were similar mounted and i liked the idea. Most guys that have used F4i fairings just redrill new holes on the fairings that line up with the F3 factory bolt holes.

dementedf3 Is that and F4I seat? How did you get the seat on. I have an extra F4I tail with both seats.
