Might be a new guy question, but here goes -- are there any parts from the F2 that are compatible with the F models?  I'm talking about things like brake components, switch housings, mirrors, or things of that nature?

I can now make this my project bike and since I plan to keep it for life (or until it costs SO much that she becomes much more of a money pit than she already is) I want to address some problems I see looming on the horizon with switches wearing out, paint fading, swingarm bushings, etc. (She's pretty damned tired, now that I think about it)

switches could work if you redo the connectors. f2 went to larger bolts on the swingarm pivot, so that means larger dia bearings, etc.

f2 was pretty much a complete redesign. fuel pump will work, headstock bearings, and a few other things. brakes (caliper and rotor) will not since fork tubes and rim are differenent. the rear rotor will not work but maybe the caliper will, can't remember. mirrors could work if you make up the bolt spacing.
