I had bought the Bikelitez FE earlier, but decided I didn't like the side plates on it, so I decided to modyfy it to my tastes.

And added some additional flushmounts to further change the look.

I'm also going to be adding an auxiliary brake light over the pipe, but it will be different to the 06 light that others have in there.
I'll post a how to on what I did, and more pictures later.

Before

After... I think it cleaned up the tail quite nicely, and best of all, it was a plug and play application! no cutting required.

Nice work with the FE....plus that cowl is sharp and the pinstriping is sweet.

One question:  Is there any way you can move the plate forward a few inches?

The plate is too wide. In order to move it forward I'd have to start cutting away at the plastic on the side plates, which is one of the things I wanted to avoid doing.

I wanted to keep it as street legal as possible, and to avoid hacking up the bodywork as much as possible, So I can return her to stock condition if necessary. That's why I'm tentative about adding the additional light over the pipe. I'm still not sure if I want to take a dremmel or hacksaw to the plastic tray inside the tail.

Oh, the Rizomas for the front are on the way

i have the same led but mine is mounted under the battery. i love the look but have you had any trouble with condensation forming in the light? i do and the other day i realized my running light stopped working. the brake and signals still work but no running. i am trying to contact 1 tail to get a new light, thinking that mine is just defective.
i like yours better than the other elims that use an 06 light because there is minimal view of the light behind the stock 07 exaust.
