I'm married to a wonderful man that rides with me. We've been riding for almost 6 years together now. He's such a sweetheart. He buys me bike accessories for my birthday. I love him tons for that!

I was always into it, but finally bought one a couple yrs ago. the BF taught me, then I tok the MSF course, got my endorsement. Rode alone and met up with one of my friends that rode all the time. Sold that bike after a good yr, and bought my F4i. THEN the bf bought a bike cause he was sick of me cheating on him with my motor-man and going out riding alone.

PS he goes with me once in a while, and I wished he shared this obsession with me, but oh well. Maybe my next BF will. LOL

Oh and HELL no, I'm neither married or engaged, thank u.. Been there, done that, have the bumper sticker.

I was married, for 4 years. Divorced in 04, since then  I have dated some guys here and there. Iv'e noticed that a lot of guys (not all) get VERY jealous and intimidated by me owning my own bike. (especialy when my bike is bigger than theres) But I love being single! Don't rush the marriage thing, enjoy what you have now.

I am married *to another forum member txn_driver* and just recently started riding.  I think it's a great way for us to be togethe without having to worry about anything.  We have a lot of other stressors right now between his family and my education - so somedays, we just like to drop everything and ride, it certainly eases the tension to a bearable point again.

My husband got me into riding.  He has been riding for years and I have always been the passenger.  I never thought I could do it and just this last weekend we did the same thing...went down to the shop to look and bought one for me.  I am so glad we did.  He has been the best teacher and very encouraging.  I was so scared to ride on my own, but wouldn't go back to a being a passenger if you paid me.  It's great fun for a couple to go out together.  We are planning our first "mileage" ride in the next few weeks.  Live in Oregon so have to wait for the right weather.  Ride down to the beach for lunch, can't wait!

Sorry for posting in the Ladies Lounge, but I can relate to the topic. I am recently single and enjoy riding very much. I enjoy riding by myself...getting lost on some road somewhere with no worries or concerns. It is my therapy. You do not need to be in a relationship to enjoy life or riding. Find your passion and go with it. Meet new friends or aquantances who share your same interests. It will make your next relationship that much more enjoyable.
